Criteria

Pure Muslim Match services are 100% free. However, it is only for practising Muslims who pray all 5  of their prescribed daily prayers without intentionally missing any of them.

Those who make intercession dua to the prophet, may peace and blessings be upon him, or dua to “pirs” or “saints” will not be accepted onto the service. This is because there is strong evidence that these types of dua are acts of worship, a type of shirk that can nullify a persons Islam.

SHIRK

Shirk means directing worship to anyone other than Allah, and its been reported that du’aa’ comes under the heading of worship which must be devoted to Allah alone and not directed to anyone else. Hence the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Du’aa’ is worship.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 2969; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani inSaheeh al-Tirmidhi.”

In many verses of the Qur’an we find evidence to support this scholarly view

Allah says:

“Such is Allaah, your Lord; His is the kingdom. And those, whom you invoke or call upon instead of Him, own not even a Qitmeer (the thin membrane over the date stone).

If you invoke (or call upon) them, they hear not your call; and if (in case) they were to hear, they could not grant it (your request) to you. And on the Day of Resurrection, they will disown your worshipping them. And none can inform you (O Muhammad) like Him Who is the All Knower (of everything)”

[Translation of Qur’an 35:13-14]

“And the mosques are for Allaah (Alone), so invoke not anyone along with Allaah”

[Translation of Qur’an al-Jinn 72:18]

Allah described calling upon anyone other than Him, such as the dead, idols, the jinn or the angels, as shirk or the association of others in worship with Him. He said:

“And verily, there were men among mankind who took shelter with the males among the jinn, but they (jinn) increased them (mankind) in sin and transgression”

[Translation of Qur’an al-Jinn 72:6]

“And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilaah (God), of whom he has no proof; then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely, AlKaafiroon (the disbelievers in Allaah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters) will not be successful”

[Translation of Qur’an al-Mu’minoon 23:117]

The Muslim must beware of that and must seek help from Allah alone and ask from Him alone, for He is Sufficient and He is Able to do all things. Allah is the One Who says:

“And your Lord said: ‘Invoke Me [i.e. believe in My Oneness (Islamic Monotheism) and ask Me for anything] I will respond to your (invocation)’”

[Translation of Qur’an Ghaafir 40:60]

“And when My slaves ask you (O Muhammad) concerning Me, then (answer them), I am indeed near (to them by My Knowledge). I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me (without any mediator or intercessor). So let them obey Me and believe in Me, so that they may be led aright

[Translation of Qur’an al-Baqarah 2:186]

“Verily, Allah forgives not (the sin of) setting up partners (in worship) with Him, but He forgives whom He wills, sins other than that, and whoever sets up partners in worship with Allah, has indeed strayed far away”

[Translation of Qur’anal-Nisa’ 4:116]

“Verily, whosoever sets up partners (in worship) with Allah, then Allah has forbidden Paradise to him, and the Fire will be his abode”

[Translation of Qur’an al-Maa’idah 5:72]

It is said by scholars that if someone commits shirk and then repents whilst they are alive, then Allah might forgive them, but if they die and have not been forgiven for the shirk then they will abide in the hellfire for eternity.  Pure Muslim Match is only for Muslims who have not nullified their Islam.

All of the above information was mention out of genuine care for you. May Allah guide us all to that which is best and grant happiness and success in this life and the next. Ameen.
